Shark Eyes Deterrents are designed to help reduce the risk of shark interactions using principles of biomimicry. However, no shark deterrent can ever provide a 100% guarantee that a shark will not approach or interact.

Sharks are powerful, unpredictable animals. While extensive field use and testing by commercial divers, fishers, and ocean professionals have demonstrated confidence in Shark Eyes, the ocean will always carry an element of risk.

Any human activity in the water near sharks should always be approached with caution and respect. Shark Eyes products are intended to act as a visual deterrent, reducing the likelihood of certain investigative or unprovoked “hit-and-run” encounters — but they do not eliminate risk entirely.

Rinse with fresh water immediately after use to remove salt, sand and sunscreen. Hang to dry inside out, out of direct sunlight. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Store flat or hung in a cool, dry place.
