Oska Caldwell

Oska Caldwell grew up on Quobba Station, a remote sheep station on one of the best stretches of coastline in the world. The way the film about him frames it, a kid raised in that spot ends up either running sheep or belonging to the ocean. He went the second way.

He now lives in Kalbarri. He surfs the heavy water along that coast, and he is a crayfisher and a spearfisher, so work and recreation happen in the same place. His own time is split between surf days and dive days.

He is the subject of OSKA, a short film shot by Hammersly Productions with cinematographer Caleb Davenport.
