Steve Wall

Steve Wall is an Australian filmmaker who specialises in underwater camera unit work and remote area operations. He has spent more than ten years in the water unit, shooting with Alexa Mini and LF, Red Raptor and custom water housings.

He works across water, land and air, moving between director, cinematographer and camera technician depending on what a production needs. His credits include the Coasts episode of Planet Earth III, commercial work for major brands, and natural history sequences. He has also built a feature documentary from the ground up.

He describes his motivation simply, as the pull of the natural world, built on years spent in the ocean and the mountains.

Steve is currently based in Iceland. He has shot for Shark Eyes, and the work sits in his own portfolio alongside those credits.
